Tasha’s is a spacious three bedroom guest house. Close to the village Centre with its many shops and stores and within easy walking distance. The waters edge and boat launching facilities are about five minutes drive away. The Main Bedroom has a double bed and wardrobe and the second bedroom two comfortable single beds and wardrobe. There is a charming third bedroom with a double bed and a single over. This room has the advantage of a a shower and toilet en-suite. The family bathroom has both bath and shower fitted. Tea and coffee facilities are provided and breakfast and light lunches are served in the adjacent “Art Cafe”. There is plenty of room to park vehicles and boats and there is also an outside braai at the rear of the property. The lounge is equipped with a comfortable leather couch and television and dvd player. Dstv is connected for the basic package though you can of course bring your own dstv card.
General Information We provide coffee, tea, milk and sugar on arrival, breakfast is served in the adjacent “Art Cafe” and lunch if required is available at extra cost. Bath towels and all bedding is also provided. There are several restaurants and take aways in the village one of our favourites is “The Quarterdeck” especially for evening dinner. Shops in the village include Butchery’s , Bottle Store’s, Post Office etc. Sunset/sunrise cruises can be arranged for you, early bookings are essential though.
There are various places available to launch your boat at a minimal charge some with “braai” facilities among them is Anchor Creek, Manten Marina, and the Water sports club where we can arrange free entry saving you the daily fees of over R200.

RISK PROFILE and CODE OF CONDUCT
Guests make use of the facilities of Stone Cottage Tasha’s On Main and Platinum Moon entirely at their own risk. It is agreed that all signs, notices and warnings will be adhere to. I also acknowledge that the code of conduct or house rules will become an integral part of my behavior and form part of this contract. Although the owners, proprietors, agents and/or employees have made all possible effort to ensure my/our safety, I hereby waive and abandon any claims of whatever nature including, but not limited to injury, death, loss of limb or whatever nature whether arising from fire, armed robbery or any other cause and by whomsoever caused, or arising from the negligence (or wrongful act) of any person on the guesthouse premises, against the owner, proprietor, employees or agents. I hereby agree that it is a condition of my/our occupation of the guesthouse premises that the owner, proprietor, agent or employees shall not be responsible for the loss or damage of any property brought onto the premises, whether arising from fire, theft or any other cause or by whomsoever caused, or arising from the negligence and/or wrongful act of any person on the premises, and this is deemed to be contracted with the owner on this basis.
I/we hereby agree that I/We shall be responsible and liable for any damage caused by myself/ourselves or any of my/our guests at the facility during my/our stay at the guesthouse. All costs of repairs will be for my account and management will be paid/refunded for the repairs done in this context.
No children under 12, unless pre-arranged with owner/manager. If agreed to by the facility, then the parents take full responsibility for the actions of their minors and agree to the risk profile.
All cancellations must be done in writing. In terms of Chapter 2, Section 1 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008,Stone Cottage is committed to best practice and as such has aligned its refunds policy to be in line with the Consumer Protection Act. (Section 17, subsection 3 (b); 4(a-d)) Should I, the guest, wish to cancel my reservation, the following will apply:
- More than 29 days prior to arrival – 10% of deposit amount
- 21 – 28 days prior to arrival – 25% of deposit amount
- 14- 21 days prior to arrival – 50% of deposit amount
- 7 – 14 days prior to arrival – 75% of booking amount
- Less than 7 days or no show – 100% of booking amount
